The 51

Every Tucker ever built.

The Tin Goose prototype, then cars 1001 to 1050, built in Chicago in 1947 and 1948. Each one is shown in its factory color. Tap a car for its photos, how it was built, where it is today, and the films we’ve made about it.

On public display We made a film about it Lost (shown in its factory color) Colors are approximate.

After the factory

The continuation cars.

Two more Tuckers were finished after the plant closed, and they are not alike. #1051 is body number 54, which left the factory unfinished and without a serial number; Chick DeLorenzo finished it in the years after 1986. It belongs to the Tucker and Ida families today. #1052 was assembled later from original Tucker parts.

Where to see one

Twenty-three Tuckers you can see.

These museums, and one winery, have a Tucker on display, and the AACA also holds part of the frame of #1018. Displays change, so check before you make the trip.

    Help us find them

    Know a Tucker’s story?

Old photos, a relative who worked at the plant, a car you saw at a show in 1962. We collect all of it, and the best finds turn into films.
